In several seminars i was working at the gateway between scenography and architecture with the focus on the interaction between users and spaces. How does space interact with people or how can people made to interact or act on spaces? The Mirror Ceiling in the old harbour of Marseille by Foster Architects is an example how scenography and architecture connects. In my seminar-series SPACING i explored this connection with architecture students at the Karlsruhe Institut of Technology (KIT) within question like f.ex.: What creates atmosphere? What makes people move? What impact has sound and acoustic? How can you work with sound in spaces? Can we design from musical pieces? (...)
