The pictures from astronomic telescopes deliever extremely colourful views of galaxies, exoplanets and space. Those pictures show the tremendous impact of light on our perception of colours. The monthly radioshow HOLIDAYS ON MARS is a journey into the brilliance and diversity of the colorful world of music releases by traveling back in time and observing the future.
The show is streamed live from Karlsruhe, GER monthly on every fourth friday from 21-22.00 CET. You can listen locally via the local radio station: Querfunk on 104,8 MHZ or on web stream live via the web player popping up on the day of the show here.
In 2022 I HAVE INVITED GREAT MONTHLY guests:
The first guest WAS SERGIO GIL in FEBRUARY.
The SECOND GUEST IS RICCARDA KATO IN APRIL.

- SERGIO GIL -
There are quite often musicians talking about pictures in the head. I m thinking about muscians from the avantgarde music like Elaine Radigue, Suzanne Cianni or of course Pierre Schaefer. If you are interested check out „Sisters with transistors“ on arte because I know that this months guest of Holidays on Mars: SERGIO GIL would recommend this documentation to you too. And that’s also why I start this text with this visual aspect, because this is what Sergio does in his mix. I don’t want to spoiler, so…It’s about somebody sitting in front of Elektro Mueller. Somehow cinematic, somewhat... a space to escape – somewhere – for an hour. Thanks Sergio. <3
